Title: Rainbow n d Dark
Original Band or Composer: Ronnie James Dio
Notes: "Rainbow in the Dark" was the second single released by heavy metal band Dio, taken from their 1983 album, Holy Diver. It was numbered 13 on VH1's "Top 40 Greatest Metal Songs". I started recording at 5 something in the morning and I have completed the process at 11:13 with the upload and entry into the database
The bridge and chorus have changed from the original. This is due to that this midi file comes courtesy of http://www.songsterr.com - Dennis specifically. I have added Halion Distorted guitar to give my own rhythm guitar track some depth. This is also to show the difference between my guitar and the computer's guitar sound
The Bass via Kontakt's SCARBEE RICKENBACKER (I used Dub Bass configuration & Kontakt's Solid Bus Comp w/ Steinberg's StudioEq Metal Bass Drum preset), Toontrack's EZ Drummer v2 (Kontakt's Solid Bus Comp w/ Steinberg's StudioEq Metal Drum preset), along with my guitar going through the Digitech RP500 (my own brown sound tone with everything at 10) and I feel this is one of the best sound engineering mixes yet, with my recorded mistakes as usual. Nothing perfect here.
Since my 1997 Alexis mixing board is freaking out on me, I ran the RP500 directly into the Profire 2626 and only used the Alexis studio 32 for the Vocals
