Title: Tush vst
Original Band or Composer: ZZ Top
Notes: With the college football and NFL seasons wrapping up, I have been thinking about Lawson and that lead to how he told me that Frank Beard use to work for him back in the sixties. I found out about that back in the eighties, when I used to work for Bud & his construction company. Lawson said to me, "I am going to tell the same thing that I told Frank Beard back in the sixties, you better be better at music than you are at construction."
Those words motivated me to become the musician that I am today. While I wait for the new position as web developer to start next week, I might as well be productive.
A shout out needs to go to Jon Price, who used to play his guitar in front of me, while having ZZ Top playing on the phonograph. He taught me the first eight chords (there are only seven, but his eighth was the E in bar form) and I think of him each time that I play ZZ top songs, as well. May both of you be blessed and I miss you Bud.
The Bass via Kontakt's SCARBEE RICKENBACKER (I used Dub Bass configuration & Kontakt's Solid Bus Comp w/ Steinberg's StudioEq Metal Bass Drum preset), Toontrack's EZ Drummer v2 (Kontakt's Solid Bus Comp w/ Steinberg's StudioEq Metal Drum preset), two different settings for my RP500 for the rhythm & lead (flanger)
If you cannot use Google MP3 player, for whatever reason, then here is the direct link - http://kronusproductions.com/uploads/4_carol/Tush-vst.mp3
